The purpose of this event is to support for Snohomish County children and their families’ access to wellness services, workshops, and trainings on important issues such as physical health, personal development, suicide prevention, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), bullying, and parenting strategies. Our goal is to provide resources and education to families and children by increasing their understanding of the connection of physical health and mental well-being and help them create healthier communities through advocacy and self-empowerment.
The Children & Youth Mental Health Wellness Fair will be held on Saturday, May 6th 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Middle School. The layout of the fair will have a light fun feel with interactive skill building workshops, continuing education, community agencies and program vendors, and keynote youth motivational speaker, Houston Kraft. Our anticipated attendance will be a minimum of 800 attendees from across Snohomish County; all Snohomish school districts will be promoting this event as well as our public relations team.
